i need a new starter now because i gotta hit it to get the jeep to start.
i want to upgrade while im at it. should i get the mean green or powermaster or is there one thats better then those?

To be perfectly honest, there's not much need for an upgraded starter. My guidelines for a starter would be 1. longest possible warranty/replacement. 2. cheapest.

I have to agree. The stock one seems adequate when working properly and how can you improve that. Plus the upgraded ones are pretty pricey. I say, save your money for other mods and get a new (not reman) stock replacement and get a good warranty. My two cents.

Agree with all above.
It would seem to be your solenoid, if integrated into starter that is the problem.

Yeah I'd say the same as above... Pick up a good unit with a good warranty, and take that difference in money between that and the Powermax types and put it into other mods/upgrades you want...

ok guys. i got the lifetime warrnty starter from autozone. now i have enough left to do my sye and shaft
