Hi to all
I'm a 61 year old retired/disabled contractor. I just bought my 97 sport with 130,000 from my brother inlaw. It runs well but a/c does not blow cold and makes all kinds of racket when engaged. So first will be fix a/c.
My xj sits stock. That may change if funds suddenly appear. I would like to have a cool looking reliable trail rig /daily driver
I will do most of the improvements myself as I enjoy working with my hands. I have an arc welder and lots of hand tools.so I should be able to make most of what i want to install on the jeep.
It seems that there is plenty of diy info on this fourm.
thanks Herb

Welcome to the forum Herb! Glad you joined us here and we will do our best to help you out with your jeep! You have us pegged right, we are hands on characters. Myself, I am still learning and will be for a long time but do the most I can. So you'll be in likeminded territory here. Congrats on the '97, and with low miles too! Some pics of the jeep would be greatly appreciated. We love seeing all kinds of XJ!
