I have this kit on my 97 XJ, with a banks header and AFE intake. I love the way it sounds. It does drone a little bit at freeway speeds but it's not terrible. You do need to make you own hanger at the rear to use the original hanger (vehicle side) I just welded a muffler clamp sideways to the tail and went through the factory hanger

I think I'll go with the same FM40 series exhaust I had on my 98, was cheaper and I liked the sound it had.. but I would imagine this one would have a pretty decent sound from what I've heard of other folks' AFE exhausts on other vehicles other then XJ's..
