5 speed swap ax15 or nv3550?

Hello everyone, I have a 2000 xj limited with an automatic transmission in it right now. Well the automatic is getting ready to die. I really want to do a 5 speed swap. Which tranny is tougher? Which is generally cheaper to swap to? And what parts would need to be collected to do so? Thanks in advance for everyone's input and any info.

I looked into it a while back. Your best bet is to buy a 5 speed parts XJ if your intent on doing it. I ended up snagging a spare autotrans from an 2wd 88k mile rollover. If you want I can send you all the pdf files I collected on the swap.
