Well currently I am on the hunt for a good XJ. I started on my Jeep adventure back when I was 16 with a 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I kept that Jeep until a year ago when I sold it and bought a 2012 JK. Well long story short I've been unhappy with my career field and I'm going back to college for electrical engineering so the JK hit the chopping block. I'm hoping to find a 1999 XJ to use as my DD and also build up as an expedition style rig.

Sounds like some good jeeps in your past. Would love to have a late ZJ myself. Good choice searching for the '99 as well, although I bet you know that already since you noted it. :D Welcome to xjtalk and have fun on the hunt!
