My Aunt and Uncle own some land in the back country of MN. They said there is a Jeep of some kind parked up there that we could get parts off of or have entirely if we* thought it was worth it. This is what we found.

A 1975 Jeep Wagoneer.

In the upper left hand corner you will see my Uncle.

It has been sitting at least 13 years and we found a family of mice living in the air cleaner. It has the 360 V8 power brakes and steering and 4 wheel drive.

We will need to try get a key made for it and it has a ton of mouse poop in the front seat as well as holes in the back seat floor.

To get to the Jeep we had to off road a Ford E-150 conversion van! That van has done now done more off roading then some Jeeps.

Throw that battery on a conditioner and then charge it up, should be good!! LOL.. Overall looks to be in pretty darn good shape for sitting in the woods that long!! What are your plans with it??

Being from the rust belt, myself. Check all the posts for rust. These FSJ has a tendency rust in the pillars. My rear window cracked when the rear pillars rusted.

If the rust isn't too far advanced it's probably worth saving.

One thing to say:
Jeeps don't die. They are being rebuilt.

Looks like a nice project...

The plan for it as of now it restore it. Getting it out of it hiding place will most likely be a challenge but we have a few ideas up the sleeve.

Now to look for a FSM...
