Thanks For the warm welcome.. Now to just get some pics of my junk (XJ) up here.. but im still lost for the rear TJ fender install.. all the threads and howto seem to have the pics deleted or gone...

Well its a 91 rust bucket.. lol.. she has rot all over.. been doing little by little.. this one has a 4.0 stroked out to 4.8 makes 302hp. motor work done by my uncle speed shop.. pretty much stock everything eles.. has a 5inch lift on it and some other odds and ends.. really a DD,beater that u really dont care what it looks like it just flat out gets the job done..

my other one is also a 91, LS motor swap,70's 4speed rock crusher tranny,atlas tcase, front axle is 44 from a tj, rear axle is a 44 also from a 88 xj. 4:88 gears, locked and loaded, and all the other typical shit.

thanks... tomorrow when i get home from work.. i snap pics of projects.. is it typical for the rear unibody frame rail to rust around that metal piece that bolts to protect the gas tube?

Yes, lots of people cut and fold there to get rid of the ugly

Oh lol... mine is sorta trail rash.. u know gives it character. but i got some holes in the frame rail to get patched up and replace cargo area... i all ready did the floor pans in the front..

and i was on the how too guides for 45mins.. anyone do a guide on Dash lights and overlay?

Yes but also gauge overlay.. like the one in POST #4 of this topic... i know i can get replace the OEM bulbs with leds.. but which size and where can i get the gauge overlay or do you have to make it like the one in the Sig of the guy in post 4

We have or had a vendor on here that did that. Name is escaping me right now. He had a bunch of styles available. Someone refresh my memory

Wow man! Sounds like some awesome rigs! Can't wait to see these things.

On the gauge covers, i believe you're speaking of mine. They are available on ebay, and as far as i know that's the only place offering them. I have had issues with them though, and aren't currently working actually. But they're pretty cool when they do. But try and retain the original back lighting as well so you can still see the needles and odometer.

The bulbs in the cluster are 194 (aka t10) and you should need 5 in all.
