Hey All,

Pumped up on going to pick up my 98 XJ tomorrow. Bought thru a friend since we are in need of a second vehicle (aka I get a new toy). Excited to get to know everybody on here and get some help with the Jeep that already has a laundry list.

Thanks !

Thanks guys, I'm pumped. It's going to be my DD so not planning to build it too crazy but want it to look good and be usable for backcountry excursions. First thing will be trying to figure out the electrical issue in the dash. No gauges, no odo, just lights. Its very strange.

Nothing wrong with building to suit your needs! Let us know if you need any advice or even just to bounce ideas off of.

With the electrical issue, it sounds like a connection problem probably due to corrosion. Try cleaning the connectors, and checking the fuses just to be sure.
