Not sure what you mean here. Can you be more specific?

Sorry for the timing. It replaces the chain

I haven't heard of any belt drives, and thee is really no provision for one.

They replace the timing chain set. Ive used em with the sbc and 4.3l gm but always had to remove material to get them to fit but i was wondering if anyone uses/used them. Cool sound but more accurate and zero stretch

Yes, I know what you mean now. The 4.0 is a very old school motor that has very few options for improved horsepower. Nothing is like a SBC where you can buy race parts at the dollar store

No hp or tq gain just dead nuts timing and no stretch is what im trying to achieve. My bottom end is very tight so I was thinking a gear drive when I do replace the timing chain set.

I don't think they exist for the 4.0

Ok ive been looking and there isnt any out there never was which is mind boggling since the 4.0 is used in alot of different applications

That is true, lots of them out there. But it is not considered a highly modifiable motor like the SBC

I know which is a shame due to the potential for a nice torque monster to develop out of the motor. The more im learning about them the more I want to build a motor but the expense of truly one off parts will kill me sooner than later

Nice im assuming it fit great due to space under the hood.

Headers were tight, but the rest is a very good fit. That is why I chose it

Nice, very nice. I miss my 4.3L 4x's. Had to fix the vac actuated front diff to a locking throttle cable to keep it engaged but man that little motor worked its way out of all sorts of predicaments.
I had the tbi with the filter on top made going deeper easier.

Yup, good motors
