Two weeks ago, my wife traded in her Aspen for a Jeep Patriot and I was driving a '98 Montero Sport that needed exhaust system, a new timing belt and it was shooting gas at about a gallon a minute out the rear driver's side wheel well. I had it towed away. Looking through Craigslist for a Cherokee and I found a '93 sport. Going to give it the once over on Monday and hopefully be driving it home. I always wanted a Cherokee to flat tow behind my RV, now I hope my dream comes true.

Brought home my 1st Cherokee today, a '93, 2 door Sport. Drove it 77 miles to get it home and it ran like a champ. Only 219,000 miles on it and paid a whopping $550 for it. Can't wait to start working on it.

The picture is a little deceiving, it has a lot, I mean A LOT of rust. Over the next couple of days I'm going to take a pad of paper, go front to back and list everything that has to be done. Mechanically, it is sound, engine and trans strong, 4X4 is very good. The interior is in very good shape also, just needs a good cleaning. When I begin the work, I start a "My Build". I am very happy with it, my wife even realizes that I finally have my "project car".

Welcome to the site! Wish I could find a deal like that! (And have the money to actually take advantage of the deal...)
