I'm glad to be here. I found the site with a search of Google. I recently purchased a 1997 Cherokee Country. I has high mileage (219,000), but has had only one owner. The XJ was purchased and spent it's entire life in the southern part of NC. It has never been wrecked or modified (yet):rolleye0012: and has no rust. I just finished completely rebuilding the rear brakes, so I could get rid of a braking clunk. I am now tackling what is hopefully the AC drain being clogged up.

Sounds like a pretty nice deal you found yourself there!! Glad you were able to take care of the noisy rear brakes, and hope you were able to take care of the AC clog as well..

Welcome to the site Mark. A good start for sure. I have clanking brakes to deal with too. :rolleyes: Post up a pic of your jeep when ya can.
