View Full Version : A Extra Memoriable Memorial Day!

This past Memorial Day weekend, when we take a mere moment to remember our fallen soldiers, I received something.

A flag flown over a U.S. base and signed document from Afghanistan!

At a time when I'm remembering our soldiers, one active duty solider was thinking of me and taking the time to send me a very special gift from a very dangerous place of the world.

But isn't this what Memorial Day was really about? Soldiers thinking of us, civilians and giving their lives so we can enjoy our great country and our lives!

A huge thank you to Captain Dan Cole! You may recognize that name from "The 4x4 Podcast"

The case I ordered the SAME day I received this great honor and gift came in today. Man that was a long wait.

lol I didn't know it was more than one patch, so I moved it around and added a American Flag patch from my own collection. :D

Damn and I just looked that up for Dan, storesonline.com I believe. Just do a search for FLGFACC1000025777 You might find a better price, although this one was backordered for a couple of weeks.

It is very nicely made.

My wife has a green on black American flag that she wanted me to use, but it's hers, so I just used one of the bright ones. :D
