I guess we'd have to hear it. Maybe a phone video? A slight ticking noise is normal.

The two most common causes of the loud tick/tap on these engines is (1) a cracked exhaust manifold or (2) a sticking lifter. Like Tony said, a slight bit of noise can be emitted from the injectors. That one is completely normal.
