Hi, my names Raffi and I'm new to the XJ world, my brother has been in it for years, I finally caved in lol.
Picked myself up a 1990 Jeep cherokee 4.0L and am on a mission to get her trail ready!
I'm shooting for a goal of spending no more than $1000 not counting the wheels and tires to get her up and in working order. So far I'm $684 in and almost done! (I know, you're never done lol)
Here's a couple pics of her now! I just finished installing a Junkyard/Bastard lift on her. Got just over 4" lift on it, gonna be putting 33's under her, right now it's got bald 31's. She's running awesome! Drive's smooth, and has a lot of flex ability, I wish I had a bigger jack to test out it's full potential lol.
Here's what I did for the lift portion of it...
-Dodge Dakota leaf pack under XJ main leaf
-MJ rear shackles
-V8 Upcountry GC front coils with 2" spacer
-Rubicon JK front and rear shocks using bar pin Eliminators
