View Full Version : Favorite car scents?

I don't know about you all, but I get used to car scents way too quickly, so I try to mix it up, my Jeep will have a different scent every month, I rotate between

Driven - Black out
Driven - Ice storm
Yankee Candle - midsummers night

But that only gives me three months before I'm back to the start.

Does anyone have recommendations for a new scent to try?

What are your favourites?

This post isn't necessarily about Jeeps, but I hope the correlation shows.

I just have to say, I don't like any of them. So my favorite scent is no scent. I realize some like them, but my nose sure doesn't

Gasoline, grease, and exhaust scents are my favorite.

Mold, mildew, and pretty much any of the damp scents are my least favorite.

Am I the only one who likes my Jeep like my women? Muddy but still smelling great?

Typically i don't worry too much about it but recently i have tried spraying some apple cinnamon inside it, but it doesn't last. After a couple minutes, nothing. Accidently punctured one and tried setting that inside, still couldn't smell it. Maybe my schnozzzz is broken.

That's one of my problems, I get used to the smells too quickly, all of my friends say how great the interior smells, but I can't notice it, that's why I switch them out often, so I can enjoy it.

I don't mix Jeeps and women. Just not the same. Besides, I like the women clean :rolleye0012:

I really wish I could remember the name of it, but there's a carpet sprinkle packet that you sprinkle the stuff on your home's carpet and vacuum it up... I like the "clean laundry" scent and they last a long time in the Jeeps. Just stuff in in the rear floor board or under your seat. If it starts losing its scent, poke a few holes in the packet and shake it up a bit.

I use Yankee candle pumpkin spice in the fall and winter, cherry blossom in the spring, black ice in the summer

Yep ... thats my usual,

... although at this time of year ... chainsaw fuel, pureed ant or possum, and various sawdust types are pretty common.

A little eucalyptus ought to clean out the sinuses. :rolleye0012:

A couple of strategically placed lavender dryer sheets (preferably Gain ) makes It real nice and not overpowering .

Right now, my jeep has been being used on the farm in addition to being used as the kayak fishing war wagon. So....along with lake mud and fish scent, it's got that cow and horse manure fragrance, too. My wife won't ride in it. lol
