I understand that is supposed to be cute, but this is so unhygienic I feel sorry for the baby. I'm sure on some level it is good for building a strong immune system, but from raising hogs I wouldn't want anyone I know to lick a dirty hog.

Sixteen shivers up and down my spine on that one.

We've always had pigs. You won't catch me locking them, or letting anyone else. The first thing I thought was not hygiene (kids eat some jacked up stuff lol) but safety. Ever been bitten by a hog? Get the kid back!

All of those things went through my mind.

I've definitely been bitten by hogs. I would hate to see it happen to a small child.

I didn't think any of that. I never got bit by our pigs. Now the mule bit the hell outa me. And slid in the cow poo. The rooster came chasing after me too

Our mule didn't last too long. He had a bad habit of killing goats and generally chasing off anything around him. Mule generally doesn't taste good, but I enjoyed eating him.

Rocco,The secret is in the garlic.
07, that was one really bad day.
Ours never bit us, but I have seen the results. Not pretty.

I like garlic, but I am good enough with my herbs and spices that I can make my meals taste good enough without draining everything out with garlic.

Better watch out Rocco. 4.3 is on the left coast with his garlic spaghetti, Naomi is in the Great White North with her Cheemo Perogies, but you are right next door. I'm hoping for an invite to the next mule roast. :)
