I bought my 1992 Briarwood back in 2009 when we moved to the Sierra. That 4x4 has sure come in handy in the snow and ice. Not much mud as most spots hereabout are showing bedrock.

A couple of questions which must be fairly common have come up recently. First, the positive battery cable has been discontinued by MOPAR and ours appears to be the original. What are the most common solutions for replacement?

Next, the Briarwood has fake wood trim on the sides with a narrow trim around that. The stuff is peeling off and I am tempted to just peel it all off but wonder if replacement is possible?

Any suggestions for this old gal?

Welcome Katie. Where are you at up in those mountains anyway? I grew up there at Tahoe. But to answer your question, most of us upgrade to a heavier cable to help it start better. The factory cables are kind of wimpy
