if im getting 265/75/16 bfg AT tires will 16x7 be wide enough?
or should i spend the xtra and get 16x8? will that change tire heigth.
and the bigger the number for backspacing does that mean its farther out from the truck? i believe the lower the "offset" does that

and more bacon :bacondance:

You could use either, but the 8" would probably be better. My rule of thumb is to use a wheel that is as wide as the tread

will a wider rim change the tire heigth? (dumb question)
doesnt that effect where sidewall is? if i forked out the cash 16x10 would be best prolly.
do i want more backspacing or less for clearence from rubbing when turning?

Don't get a 10" wheel unless you are getting a 12" wide tire or greater. 8" is plenty
