Oil pressure

What is my oil pressure suppose to read after it heats up like when sitting at idle ? When I give it gas it goes to 40 and cooled first start its 40 is it OK

40 is fine. For comparison mine, once warm, idles at 20 psi. and 40 off idle.

So how high is too high? Just curious, the girlfriend's TJ idles at 40 but it goes to around 50 when we're driving around. If I were to switch to a higher weight oil for summer, would this make the pressure too high?

if it is less than 100 psi, then it is not too high

Mine drops to like 20 or 15 at idle after warmed up is that to low
