Are they necessary for safe injector operation? I bought these reman'd Ford injectors (don't have the P#'s): http://www.ebay.com/itm/261239870122?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 to replace my failing stock units. While installing them, I noticed they didn't have slots to allow for the retaining clips to be reinstalled. I haven't had any problems with them over the past week (aside from screwing up a couple o-rings), but I'm still concerned that I'm missing an important injector safety feature.
