Hi jimbooth, :welcome: to the :xjtalk: forum!

We would love to know more about you and your Jeep. How you found us, etc...

Be sure and check out our XJ TALK SHOW! (http://podcasts.xjtalk.com) It\'s about Cherokees! It\'s like a radio talk show, but from the Internet.

Check out our sister sites, http://www.WranglerTalk.com/ and http://www.di-dah-dit.com/

Thanks. I am working in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia (on the Red Sea) and looking for Cherokee to work on for fun and to go exploring - sand dunes, rocks, and camel tipping. With 3" rain per year, there's no mud here. It's like the wild west here - just drive wherever you want. Roads, stop signs, and red lights... all optional. Blinkers and staying in your lane... you've got to be kidding!

Our Cherokee is 3rd generation: my father bought it new and used until his death in 1998, then me, and now my kids. My son and I rebuilt suspension last summer, tires, rock rails, and ARB bumper, etc. Not sure what we'll do next.

I hope to race in Baja 1000 or similar one day. They have a category just for Cherokees.

Oh wow, man. Lots of information there. That's crazy about the traffic! I can imagine there being numerous accidents due to it.

Sounds like a nice rig! And a great bonding project for you guys. I've always wanted to race jeepspeed as well, just doubt that dream will become fulfilled for me though.
