Hi LGrocks, :welcome: to the :xjtalk: forum!

We would love to know more about you and your Jeep. How you found us, etc...

Be sure and check out our XJ TALK SHOW! (http://podcasts.xjtalk.com) It\'s about Cherokees! It\'s like a radio talk show, but from the Internet.

Check out our sister sites, http://www.WranglerTalk.com/ and http://www.di-dah-dit.com/

Thanks for the welcome!

I'm actually not an XJ owner. Shame shame I know. My Jeep is a 2000 WJ and I love it. Have wanted a Jeep for a long time but after being disappointed in two different YJ's I kinda gave up for a while. Then My brother bought a 99 WJ Limited and got me fired up again. Didn't take long for me to sell my Mazda3(great gas mileage but otherwise NOT fun) and go on the hunt for a Grand Cherokee or Cherokee. Just so happens after two weeks of hunting this WJ was the right rig for me. My wife and son liked it too so that was it.

I got here via Tony & Josh and their podcast. I love podcasts for my long drive to work and back and was very happy to find one solely about Jeeps. Anyway I listen everyday by catching up on old ones.

Good to be here!

:welcome: to :xjtalk:!! We don't hate anyone, no matter what they drive... well that is unless they have a 2014 Cherokee, in which case we don't hate them... just the ride!!

Welcome Eric. Congrats on the WJ. If you need anything, it just so happens I have the factory service manual for the 99 plus a few spare parts if you need them

Welcome to the site! Nothing wrong with getting something you like and this place is welcome to all. And honestly even though its "xjtalk" there is a grand cherokee section as well.

So, what are your plans for the new rig?

I might just take you up on that. On the short list, a double cardan front driveshaft & D30 u-joint yoke and outside door sills for the passenger side. Mine are looking bad. What parts do you have?

Right now plans are to give it some TLC. Just put track bar bushings on it today. Front drive shaft is out right now due to the Rzeppa junk falling apart. The transfer case is coming out very soon for a rebuild so I'd like to upgrade the front driveshaft at the same time. Rear upper ball joints and bushings. Get some fender liners put back in since they've been trimmed quite a bit. It's my daily driver but also plan to spend as much time offroad as possible. Man it's tough not to just go crazy with upgrades. But in time it'll come.

Thanks for the welcomes

You could have the front stock driveline. Might save you some work and $$ unless you are planning on lifting it.

We have left side body parts, hood, headlight, tailgate and tail lights that are in good shape. Interior parts minus the seats, steering box, couple of good wheels and tires, stock size

4.3LXJ, thanks man that's awesome but my WJ is lifted 4" with Zone Offroad & 33x11.50 tires so it's time to switch to the u-joint front shaft.

Thanks Tony, keep up the great work. I'll get pictures up soon.
