Alright so I want to know what the numbers on the oil gauge represent. They go from 0 at 10 o'clock to 3 in the middle to 5.4 at 2 o'clock. What do these numbers represent. Obviously it's oil pressure, but I'm curious what units they're in. No real motive behind this, just curious if anybody knows it.

I thought it represents the number of minutes till engine failure.

PSI (pounds per square inch)
I figured it'd be in bar or atm because I drove a truck (Sierra 3500 diesel, very different engine so weak correlation) but it went from 0 to 400kPa at max, which is about 4 atm and 4 bar, so I figured that'd be similar with the jeep gauge. 4psi is a third of what is in a typical football so that seems a little small.

My gauge is the same and those numbers are in Bar. Multiply by 14.5 and you have psi.
