HI recently my drivers side window cut out, I had allready spliced the wires in the through the door harness so I knew it wasnt that

I pulled the motor out, and unplugged the short pig tail and found the contacts spread open, and black with carbon.
I cleaned them up, and pinched the spread one closed, and dabbed some copper shield on the contacts (got to be carefull with it can cause a short)
