Thanks BlueXJ. Glad to be here.

I've had my XJ for quite a few years now. Nothing outrageous, 97 pre update, 4.0l, aw4, 242, d30, 8.8, 3" lift, Ford Explorer 16" alloys with cheap 245/75/16 a/t.

She's a roughy, but we love the ol' girl.

Sounds like you have done a little work on it. Like that 8.8?

Gday 4.3LXJ. Yeah mate, I love it. Pure beef. I gained a little hight but my biggest win with the 8.8 is my braking performance.
We have 12 monthly registration inspections here, which includes a dynamic brake test. Mine improved approximately 10-12%, over the rear drums.

FOSTERS!!! Jebus mate. Got me buggered how that horse piss got passed off as beer in the first place, let alone as Australia's beer. Blasphemous. Beer bogs and fosters farts is all you'll get from the carp. 😂😝

Mmmmmmmmmmm. Home brew. Actually I've been daydreaming of trying alcoholic ginger beer.

Sadly, I've been banned from all alcohol, due to recently being diagnosed as epileptic.😭

Ohhh, but for a hangover. How I miss thee.

Yeah mate, since I have a little time I will tell one of those stories. Makes a good read.

I got my education about drinking when I was young. I worked at a gas station where every one was an alcoholic but me, too young to buy it legally yet. We lived in a town in the Sierra mountain, about 6,300 feet i elevation and got lots of snow there (just a small little knoll for you folks right?) In the four lane section of town they pushed the snow to the center and then came with a rotary snow plow that could chew cars and anything else there into little pieces and pitched into dump trucks and hauled it off. We knew the rotaries were coming. This guy drove in with his stock 3/4 ton pickup and was bragging about how it could go anywhere. Well, I already had plenty of serious wheeling under my belt by this time. So I said, Hey Art, lets see you climb that berm in the middle. He balked, and we said anywhere eh? Being about a sheet and a half to the wind, he said OK, I will show you guys what this rig can do. He put it in low range and took a run at it and hit it hard in an explosion of snow. There he was, eight feet up in the air perched perfectly on the berm with all wheels in nothing but air and here comes the rotary plows. The look on his face was priceless as he looked out his open door and said pull me off. None of us were driving anything that could pull him off. Sorry Art. Here comes the plows. Not too much panic, the beer was softening the blow :D
