Thanks everyone, on April 1st I will of had my XJ for 15 years. We have been to four Camp Jeeps and a couple of Jamborees as well as various local off road events. In addition to the off road events and daily driver status I also like to clean her up every once in a while and take her to a car show or a cruise in. She has won 7 or 8 awards over the years. So far I have added a Rocky Road 2" budget lift, 30 inch Definity M/T tires, tail light guards, Rancho shocks, Mopar skid plates, Mopar roof mounted tire carrier, 4x4 Custom Fabrication rock rails, bumper mounted fog lights, roof mounted off road lights, 4X4 Custom Fabrication front tow hooks, a class 3 tow hitch, American Racing steelies and a 10 disk CD changer. She is about 360 miles away from the 100,000 mile mark.

Sounds a little familiar... I've been to a jamboree (not in my xj though), take mine to a camp jeep event, car shows, cruises, and will have been with me 10 years April 8th! Separated at birth?!?!

Pretty sure one of my first upgrades is going to be a paint job. Didn't realize how popular white XJs were until I got mine!

You guys are right we have had one hell of a good time in my XJ. Camp Jeep in 2001 was my son and my first event when he was just 12 years old. It was more than just fun we had a lot of great discussions and real bonding time on those road trips. An added bonus was the fact he learned his way around vehicles helping me.

The XJ is going nowhere, I am about to embark on a 100,000 mile refurbish to keep it going for another 15 years and 100,000 miles. New hoses, belts, plugs and wires, filters and a complete fluid drain and fill. If the budget allows some new wheels, tires and a led light bar for the roof. Almost forgot, the wife gave me a new headliner (gift certificate) for Christmas so that's also on the list. At this point she is rust free, at least she was before winter hit. That could change once I crawl underneath when the weather breaks. Thanks everyone for the warm welcome and great comments. As to what took me so long to get here, I was led here by link someone left in a thread on city-data.com
