stock roof rack cross bars

I did a search but could not find any info on how to take the cross bars off, any help would be appreciated

If you want to remove just the cross rails, there are Phillips head screws, from the underside of each cross rail. One on each end. If you want to slide the cross rails off, as an assembly, then remove the end side rail screw from each of the side rails. The end piece of each side rail can then be removed. Once removed you can slide the complete cross rail off, just as if you were adjusting the location of the cross rail.
