I'm Tony. Lived in Texas all my life. I've had two 4x4s. One was a brand new Chevy 4x4 that I got back in 1983.

The second was this Jeep XJ that I, and my wife, got back in 1998.

After hurricane Rita threatened us and the roads were packed and at a literal sand still, I vowed to modify our Jeep XJ so that we could get to safety in almost any situation.
We have a large family so it has been slow, and frankly my lack of knowledge when it came to 4x4's was outstanding!
I have been a member of several XJ or Cherokee boards, and I have learned a lot in the last 3 years. Not all of it good. :smiley-laughing021:
