Hi & thanks for the welcome. I'm an older guy that's never joined a forum before so I don't even know how to get started. Can I ask how I go about asking advice on solving overheating problems with my July '96 build auto XJ 4L Sport please?

:D:D

G'Day AussieJohn ... Welcome aboard ...

As already mentioned ... Start a thread in the OEM/Factory section of the site ... and detail what you can of the service history and the issues you are having.

The XJs cooling system is a tad under par, for hot weather work, and Im guessing the sth aussie weather lately hasn't been too kind either .. ;);)

If ... being new to forums ... you are having trouble navigating around the site, ... just give a shout here in this thread, and someone will walk you thru the process till you get comfortable with it.

Cheers

All great advice, I'll just add we've tried to make it easier for everyone by putting "Post!" on the navigation bar near the top of each page.

If you wish you can place this in a specific area or just let the admins or moderators move it to the section it best fits. :xjtalk: is here to answer, help and entertain, so we try to make it as easy as possible! :D
