Wrangler fender flares on an XJ?

a friend said Wrengler fender flares look cool on XJs...
I found a set on craKslist for $40.

I've never come across pics of an xj with those flares.
...what are your thoughts??
...anyone have a pic?

had aftermarket 7 inch jobs cut down...its a cheap easy mod some like the look some dont......was my jeep so i didnt care....:smiley-taunt002:

never broke em but I do wheel like a nana.....

bushwhacker's lasted all of 5 minutes on the tj....:D

I picked em up. worst case - I won't like it and will change it up...
same laws here, but my current tires don't stick out too far.
...and yeah, I'll have to check out that thread. looks like you cut the back flare and part was on the door? does the build threw have more pics of where you cut the fender?
