I'm not trying to pick on you Texas boys or anything but you don't know what cold is. Right now the temperature is -2 and that's not counting the wind chill. The Sunday forecasted high temp is suppose to be -19 with the low at -30 with Monday at -16 for a high and -24 for a low. Wind chills expected to be -50 or lower on these two days. This is snot freezing in your nose and spit freezing before it hits the ground cold. Dangerous to say the least. So when it's 20 degrees outside and you're saying dang its cold remember your Jeep friends to the north and be happy!! ps I love Minnesota.

I'm from Iowa and lived in Ogalve MN. It gets damn cold in the Midwest. I miss it. Here in CA we have crazy stuff like drought. Can't wash cars & not suppose to water turf grass. Then there's good ol' spare the air. Can't BBQ, burn in ur fireplace, or have bonfires.

I'll keep Texas!!! I just came home from a week in Florida, it was real nice but it ain't Texas!! ( to many liberals).

We can have 4 seasons in one day here. We can have huge bonfires while cooking on our massive BBQ pits next to our outdoor fireplaces while wearing shorts and flip flops in December. We have 80 mph speed limits, greasy mex-tex, and big guns. God I love Texas!!!

Thanks guys for the reminder. Sorry it's cold where you are, we are taking applications for citizenship, jeep owners are exempt however. Com'on down!!

Yeah there are days when you use the heater and the air conditioner in the same day here but it's whatever. Christmas day I was smoking a turkey in the garage at around 5 degrees.

I grew up in Ohio on the golden brown waters of lake Erie. when the lake freezes the wind coming off it from Canada would freeze your ___ to your leg.
Now I live in the foothills of North Carolina and complain when I have to wear socks.

I've lived in both ends of the spectrum. I'm 100% Native Texan, but did live in Kansas City for 5 years when I was younger. I've experienced several ft. of snow and -12 degree cold, and I've experienced multiple day 118* summers in Texas, The kind where I've come away with burn scars that I still have to this day from touching the metal part of a seatbelt getting into a car. Not to mention a hot humidity that would steam open your standard sealed envelope! I've been through tornados, blizzards, floods and a hurricane.... weather sucks!

Glad to say i've never been in THAT cold of weather, but like Jim I've had my dealings with it. Texas most my life, down by the coast, but a while in Colorado. Although, i'm a bit young to call myself an expert at much of anything. But i will say i hate the heat of Texas!

Austin for sure!!! They say they're coming here to get away from all the rules, regs etc. then they turn around and vote for it right here!

A foot of snow on the ground and in the mid teens. In SW Michigan about 5 miles off the lake that goes by the same name. Forecast for a high of 3 on Monday. Perfect weather for some snow fun. But I'll stay inside when it's below 10 ! It gets hot and humid in summer, so almost like Texas. My son went to school in Houston and to me that's worse than 10 degrees any day ! You can always dress for cold but hot, about the only thing you can do is hang out inside the A/C.

I'll take warm/hot any day over cold... I hate being cold, I love snow but hate dumb ass drivers in the snow, and hate the cold that has to come with the snow... I know it is easier to throw on layers for the cold, but I hate wearing multiple layers, and the restriction I feel from it... and for some reason I enjoy the heat a lot more... feel like going outside and actually being productive when it is hot out.... just have to take more breaks for water... but still more productive time for me... I hide inside when it is cold out...

WOW!!! You guys got it cold! I've never been in anything below 0 and that may be a stretch. I've ridden my motorcycle 15 miles to work at 13*, I rescue some teens off of the island here on the lake at 16* with 25 mph winds , my lips froze and I couldn't talk (they thought they were survivorman).

Stay warm if possible!!

Being a deer hunter and snowboarder, I've hung around in some pretty cold temps but nothing quite like that!! Sitting still for 2 hours while you're waiting on that big buck can get pretty damn cold. Hauling ass on a board with wind in your face isn't much better! But obviously nothing that cold.

Stay warm fellas!!

Very true. Last year I broke the door handle right off my Civic with little effort. I've decided the smart play is to just stay home tonight and maybe tomorrow.
