Just kind of a wrap up to the years end. With these jeep being such a big part of our lives and taken so much of our time its fun (and sometimes sad) to think of all you accomplished or did with the thing that empties wallets and starts friendships (among other things) in a years span.

So, what did you do to/with your jeep in 2013?

Got the ole XJ back on the road after setting for a little over a year. I am now using it as my DD and enjoying it.

Everything kind of runs together for me, but I think it got it's lift in 2013, but it WAS retired from DD duties and wheeled several times

Finally got it running right and used it as my daily driver of choice for a good part of the year. I washed and waxed it once.
Now I'm back to sharing it with my daughter

Bought it, long armed it, new bumper and tires. Definitely did not wheel it enough. This will be a good jeep year for me we have a few trips planned.

sold 31s, bought 33s. finished fender trim, need to do rear cut n fold. SYE put in. added lights, winch. Got locker, still trying to get it put in.

Most importantly: wheeled it more than I ever have. and looking forward to more of the same in '14.

Had to stop and think about this one. The only things I did was remove the detents and synchros from the Atlas so it would shift easier and install WJ power leather seats.

The kids TJ is another matter. Something might be wrong here

Installed a used top and hardware for it
Converted to XJ fornt seats
Installed new bikini top
Installed used 4" lift, then raised the front another inch
Converted it to a 4.7L V8 and 545RE tranny
35" tires on 17" wheels

Let's see... for the XJ, I compiled all the parts for my lift and moved it up to Matt's shop to sleep there until stuff gets installed. (Don't think I accomplished much else, but my memory is getting old)

Then, bought a YJ with the intention to flip it. Purchased a top, rear bumper, hood latches, lift, tailgate latch, corner guards and a few other misc items. Got several installed too :D

For 2014:
1) Piece together lift
2) Purchase welder
3) Go offroading more often
4) Meet more Jeepers
5) Continue looking down on Compass, Patriot, and 2014 Cherokee drivers.

Well it looks like I accomplished all of my goals except for one and added a few I hadn't thought of last year. Still trying to save up for a welder but some things I did:

1) Built my Junkyard lift + 31" BFGs and added some Ruffstuff adjustable LCAs

2) Bought and installed my Virginia Fab front bumper to give me solid recovery points in front in addition to my receiver hitch in back

3) Joined The Orlando Jeep Club. Met a lot of awesome Jeepers and went on some trail rides with them.

4) Trimmed my fenders

5) Fixed the sagging headliner by making my own hardwood headliner

6) Replaced my "idiot light" gauge cluster with a proper full cluster.

7) Installed CB radio.

8) Maintenance- Oil changes, new thermostat and housing, new radiator/heater hoses, new fan clutch, new starter, new battery, fresh trans fluid, coolant flush

In 2015, I will probably be leaving Florida and all the friends I made here but will hopefully meet many new ones at my next destination. In addition I would like to:

1) actually get a welder this year
2) get a locker and install it.
3) replace zj coils and spacers with 3"+ coils
4) paint my jeep (rattle can)
5) replace trackbar with adjustable
6) wheel it even more than in 2014!!!

This year 4 of the 5 XJ's in the family got 1 gallon of Dupli-Color bed liner smeared all over them instead of the usual 6 cans of spray undercoating I normally apply. Checking for rust every year is a big task for some XJ owners. My daughter's 2000 was the worst because it had been in Wisconsin and I had not been able to work on it for several years. I think the dupli-color did a better job than the spray undercoating. Time will tell.

Oh my,
Drove it 35,000 miles
Changed the oil 12 times
Replaced the tires,
Replaced the front brake rotors and pads
Replaced the rear drums and pads
Replaced the thermostat with the right temp.
Installed my Ham Radio
Upgraded the Headlight wiring to Relayed 10AWG direct from battery (Ooh la la!)
Changed Transmission Oil & Filter

Then In February...
Just kidding

Happy New Year!

Alright, you'd think I'd be more on the ball because it's my thread. Nope! But I've been having some vision issues so ive been trying to stay off the screens a little more.

Anyways... in the best order I can remember. Busy year!

Swapped in '99 lighted visors.

Fixed my glow gauges with a new inverter

Swapped out my center console, ebrake lever, added the frame ebrake cable bracket, and cables from an 01 xj, 97+ xj, and kj to finally have my zj discs have working emergency brakes. (Spanned several months)

http://i1108.photobucket.com/albums/h401/xj-wheeler/Stormy%202015/P1280832%202.jpg (http://s1108.photobucket.com/user/xj-wheeler/media/Stormy%202015/P1280832%202.jpg.html)

Fabbed up new fuel filler hose cover panel since I did the 1/4 panel cut and fold. 16 gauge steel.

http://i1108.photobucket.com/albums/h401/xj-wheeler/Stormy%202015/P1290988%202.jpg (http://s1108.photobucket.com/user/xj-wheeler/media/Stormy%202015/P1290988%202.jpg.html)

Welded in Tnt frame stiffeners. Finally fixed the trans crossmember stud issue with nuts welded on the inside of the stiffeners.

http://i1108.photobucket.com/albums/h401/xj-wheeler/Stormy%202015/P1300200%202.jpg (http://s1108.photobucket.com/user/xj-wheeler/media/Stormy%202015/P1300200%202.jpg.html)

Installed a factory xj cargo cover from an 85(?) Xj.

Replaced my 11 year old worn out Rubicon Express disconnects with a used set of jks quicker disconnects I got snagged for cheap.

Fabbed up a full width t-case skid plate to work with my frame stiffeners. 3/16" steel.

http://i1108.photobucket.com/albums/h401/xj-wheeler/Stormy%202015/P1300777%202.jpg (http://s1108.photobucket.com/user/xj-wheeler/media/Stormy%202015/P1300777%202.jpg.html)

Fabbed a cb mount for my cobra 19 that bolts underneath the dash in case I want to move it or get a better cb later. 16 gauge steel.

http://i1108.photobucket.com/albums/h401/xj-wheeler/Stormy%202015/P1300640%202.jpg (http://s1108.photobucket.com/user/xj-wheeler/media/Stormy%202015/P1300640%202.jpg.html)

Swapped out my prototype 50" Lightbar brackets for a production set.

http://i1108.photobucket.com/albums/h401/xj-wheeler/Stormy%202015/P4230108%202.jpg (http://s1108.photobucket.com/user/xj-wheeler/media/Stormy%202015/P4230108%202.jpg.html)

Took it to a (very dry) mud bog.

http://i1108.photobucket.com/albums/h401/xj-wheeler/Stormy%202015/mud2%202.jpg (http://s1108.photobucket.com/user/xj-wheeler/media/Stormy%202015/mud2%202.jpg.html)

Took it on a day trip for my birthday with the family to a big state park. Just wanted some calming woods and dirt roads. Good time.

http://i1108.photobucket.com/albums/h401/xj-wheeler/Stormy%202015/P4230261%202.jpg (http://s1108.photobucket.com/user/xj-wheeler/media/Stormy%202015/P4230261%202.jpg.html)

FINALLY went wheeling. Sadly this park closed right after we went.

http://i1108.photobucket.com/albums/h401/xj-wheeler/Stormy%202015/Screenshot%20358.png (http://s1108.photobucket.com/user/xj-wheeler/media/Stormy%202015/Screenshot%20358.png.html)

Replaced my air horns and stock horns due to sinking the front on said wheeling trip. The stock horns got the heave for a mixture of a f-tone caddy horn and zj horn. Much more intimidating!

Slung a bunch of cafeteria crud on it for a picture contest and won!

http://i1108.photobucket.com/albums/h401/xj-wheeler/Stormy%202015/12046726_948084808582594_1883719839566053292_n.jpg (http://s1108.photobucket.com/user/xj-wheeler/media/Stormy%202015/12046726_948084808582594_1883719839566053292_n.jpg .html)

Fabbed a 3rd brake light mount and cover panel. Took a few months on and off. All 16 gauge steel.

http://i1108.photobucket.com/albums/h401/xj-wheeler/Stormy%202015/PA121876%202.jpg (http://s1108.photobucket.com/user/xj-wheeler/media/Stormy%202015/PA121876%202.jpg.html)

Cut the swiss cheese out of my floor and welded in many patch panels to seal it up.

And lastly, my usual festive happenings. Added a little to it again.
