The other day I had an accident with my 2001 jeep classic and the whole front is failure.

I have a 88 xj jeep and wanted to know if it was possible to use the 2001 xj doors, the trunk door, transmiion engine and put it in the truck 88 xj.

The forward exchange mask and headlights too. I've got these parts

The question is whether it is good and if things would enter the interior and exterior of the 2001 xj xj to either 88

Ouch, very glad you are ok.
The front doors will work with some modification to the hinges, but the rear hatch won't work. A lot of interior things will interchange though

Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S4 because my microwave couldn't do it

I don't know how common the XJ's are in your country, but I'd recommend getting another 97+ as it will be FAR less trouble to move parts.

I believe the door hinges are different betwen them and the trunk hatsh will not interchange. I think Tony has the right idea with using the same vintage XJ for swapping parts over

No I agree. The crankshaft probably took a good hit.

Wow, man! Glad you're okay, blessed for sure! Totally agree with checking over things you want to keep, and also with finding another '97+.

It was a great looking jeep, hope you get the next set up even nicer.

That's a nasty tap glad you're okay. I'd be looking for a 97+ to fix up if I were you like the others said.
