The youngest hatchling Passed her drivers examine today. I've been bumped back down to the pickup truck.
I'm happy and sad at the same time.

Well congrats! Was this the one that was grounded and driving the Jeep "off road" in circles recently?

My mother in-law told my wife the same thing. My Mom never said that to me, she knew the mold was broke... well she broke it but that's another story... :rolleye0012:

Why not throw her in the ranger? (this coming from an 18 year old daughter) :smiley-taunt002:

Don't you know kids only want the cool rigs. We have the same problem. Granddaughter only wants the family TJ, which is lifted and on 35s. Won't be seen in the stock YJ

I would love to. But, the ranger is a stick and I have two daughters that just can't seem to get the hang of operating it. (cough cough)

Plus in my opinion the jeep is a lil beefier and safer. I bought it as an extra vehicle just for this occasion. I just didn't think I would get so attached to the dang thing.

Uh yeah... my sister's first car was a 92 Ranger with a stick... she had 13 wrecks in that thing before my parents bought her an automatic. :P Ranger took a lickin and kept on tickin though

Some picky kids y'all have. I got lucky and got a deal on my Cherokee, only a dollar. Otherwise I'd be in a 96 Subaru Legacy

Mine paid me some ridiculous wage that worked out to be about $.25 an hour

I guess I'm lucky that 3 of my 5 kids drive XJ's.

funny story about kids and driving. my one daughter(32 now) ask me to back the 78 bronco out of the driveway so she could go somewhere in the 78 chevy Malibu. I backed the bronco out and parked it on the other side of the street. When my daughter backed out she caught the two vehicles bumpers together and actually pulled the bronco in the street some. Somehow she got them untangled and the Bronco parked. I saw the bent bumper the next day but was not told what really happened for several years.

I don't think I have ever seen "lucky and "5 kids" used in the same sentence before.
