Hi all, Sorry for not posting sooner but have been eagerly researching for my jeep purchase. I picked up today a 1997 xj sport, 4.0 auto and an 8.25 rear diff. I love it except for it's one fault and the reason i got it so cheap, no reverse until the trans gets warm........ The auto oil looks to be well and truly past it's prime so will give it a service with some lucas additive to see if it helps. Other wise i'll just find another trans to whack into it. There seems to be quite an active xj community here in Australia and many retailers of parts and accessories but as an avid ebayer i think i'll cut out the middle man and get the expensive bits from the states. Look forward to reading about everything xj on here :). Mike
