Great videos! Thanks for sharing.
Maybe we could talk The Lazy Fix It Guy to call into the podcast instead of the nut job who normally calls in...:rolleye0012::D

Well, I suppose I held up Tony's progress on this repair long enough while I was over at his house today, lol. He might not get done until midnight because of me ;)

I thought the exact same thing when I watched it lol

You can see here that the "o" ring near the middle has split, it's now 2 "o" rings.

2 days, 80 miles of driving and not a drip or drop of oil. I do have a slow transmission fluid leak I have to fix, but that should be an easy fix. Then I could have a Jeep that is LEAK FREE! For now...
I can't stand it, I have to check the oil level tomorrow. Everything tells me the oil level is fine, but I'm not used to the no leak scenario, so I have to make sure there is oil in there! :bang:

A leak free jeep don't exist. It's is a mythical creature like the unicorn or an honest politician. when it stops leaking is when you should worry.

Mine has the opposite problem... leaks everywhere and the oil level never lowers.

the irony of my situation is my jeep is leak free after changing the rear pinion seal (smashed the rear pinion on a rock), but now most of my time is spent trying to keep my GF Dodge caravan from hemmoraging oil all over the driveway and I still cant find where that mess is coming from. trying to talk her into an XJ lol :)
