I have so wanted some 35s and I finally got some.

But I just really couldn't afford them. Sooooooooooooooooooo ....................

The midnight auto supply worked for me :D

After I got them on, I just had to head for the woods to try them out.

Did a little rock crawling. The flexy suspension really helped a lot!

The off camber was really scary!

The traction in this dry river bed was really bad, but the lockers got me through!

I got turned around so many times I couldn't find my way out of the woods, but the GPS got me home!

A couple of observations:
1. Don't worry about the "mid-night" auto thingy, after all it just a wrangler, those big tires won't help it anyway.
2. I know the laws in Kalifornia were bad but the limitations they put on you are ridiculous, take that off camber for instance, are you sure that's safe, looks a little radical to me.:D

No worries about the auto supply. I can hear the kid whining from here. But he is still a hundred miles away. But you are right about that radical angle. I need one of those angle thingies for the dash. But it wouldn't be right, the only ones I can find have wranglers on them.

Could your 35 handle those tires for long?

That is a good question. Probably. I wheel conservatively and avoid jarring and such through the use of my very deep tcase gears. So I might be able to keep it together. Also mine does not have a C clip, the weakest point.

Lucky!

You can ditch the C clip by changing wheel bearings to the new one piece bearings.

Is there a write up for this?

No, not exactly. I have a thread on how to change rear axle bearings in the tech section. You can see the bearing there and how to change it
