I'm trying to restore a old school desk for my kid. It's the kinda desk with a metal base and lid that opens. Only to fall on ur head looking for that last piece of gold fish snack. The chair swivels with 2 pieces of wood about 3", going across the back.
I need some tips on how to get into the tights spots to remove the paint. I'm using my angle grinder for all the big parts w a wire brush attachment. The seat is all put together w what I'm assuming is a rivit. It's not nut n bolts.
I'll sand down the wood parts, which appear to be plywood. And restain & seal them. Any feed back would be appreciated.
The kid is off at the grandparents for a week. In that time, I'm trying to get her a play room together for when she comes home.
