There's a statement in this article that actually pisses me off a bit. It states: "The Thomas’s say if this crime had happened in a rural area, they may not have seen the overwhelming response that helped bring the ordeal to an end so quickly."
What are the chances of it happening in a rural part for starters? Cities are nothing more than a pool of wackos, substance abusers, theifs, & murders. The mission district non the less has a copious amount of crime. These people are bonkers for 1 leaving the car running. 2 leaving their kids in the car while running in a crappy part of the city.
