Hi all well the other week I developed a new noise from the engine. It seems to be from the lower aft end of the motor or possibly at the torque converter. It is a constant tick or slap almost like a lifter tick but it's definitely not in the top end. It only seems to start when it's been in park or neutral for about 45 seconds. If I Rev it up It will go away for another 30 seconds or so. It doesn't seem to do it in drive or at least not as loud. I did check my flexplate to converter bolts and they were tight and I could not see any sighs of cracks in the plate. The only other thing I could think of is may be piston slapping from #6 but I don't know how I would pin point that. Any ideas would be always appreciated.

There is a common problem that causes a noise like that. The torque converter bolts come loose and the torque converter rattles. Just tighten them up and see what hapens

Could also be a crack in the flexplate
