Cylinder head gasket question

so I was reading in the Chilton manual and it says 91+ gaskets should be installed dry...

does that imply that my '89 renix should use gasket gue?
...and which 1?

Head gaskets are usually installed "dry" on all engines but you could add a thin layer of copper gasket spray on each side to promote a better seal.

this was what I was going to suggest done it many times with no problems
