Swaybar end links diameter?

Anyone know the diameter of factory swaybar end links? I want to make my own disconnects by cutting off the link ends and replacing the center with a piece of steel pipe and pins.

If i can find them and nobody has answered when i get home I'll measure my brothers old ones. Mine are long gone.

Those are not very thick. Might I suggest covering them with some tubing and then pinning that area?

Either way would work. I just don't want to spend $150 for links.

I didn't forget, okay, a little but i got home late and made sure i made a note so i wouldn't forget... for too long.

1/2" diameter. And in case it makes a difference those came from a '90 base XJ.
