Many of us drive the real thing, but, play with a smaller "real thing".
Share your photos and some details...

Great idea!

I've been into RCs for about 15 years now and started as a kid. I've had/have 5 hobby grade vehicles in that time although i haven't bought one in probably almost 10 years. I seem to stick with breaking/upgrading what i have. Although i wouldn't mind picking up a crawler.

My most recent one that I have going is a Tamiya CC-01 Pajero XB rtr. I've put a ton of work into this one in the past year to make it a capable scaler. It is in the process on getting a big makeover to the body and a few other pieces.

Really fun and easy to work on is my Team Associated RC10T3. This was originally the best version you could get with bearings and such. It currently needs brushes in the 12t motor but is a blast when its throwing 10 ft rooster tails, doing donuts, or flying through whatever i throw at it. Its also got a good bit of work but these are fairly limited on how you can modify them.

The Bruiser is what i call my E-Maxx (3906 - first gen), i couldn't see where i was going one day a few years ago and ran straight into my brothers ankle at nearly top speed. This thing weighs 14 lbs (iirc) so yes it bruises. Its got a load of aluminum parts, some massive Swamp Dawg tires, and a load of other stuff. It is a massive beast that runs over-into-through anything i try. But, is a true jeep in that every time i drive it something breaks. It likes chewing up the spur gear, even though i run a two piece Robinson Racing unit. But i love it... when it works. :D

My first RC was a Clodbuster (the original one) that was just an unstoppable rig. I look back and think how it didn't flex well at all, not much power, and in general cheap but it was so much fun as a kid. I still have it (sorry, no pic right now) but its nowhere near complete. I got a tube chassis for it, along with some nice tires and wheels, and a few other pieces but to finish it would take too much at the moment. The end game would be for it to be a crawler.

And lastly my latest purchased is a Team Losi Mini-T. Its basically a have size stadium truck like the RC10T3. But this thing is GUTLESS! After a couple very boring runs the steering servo gave out so it got shelved and still sits waiting. I'll get a pic of this one soon.

Will have to get pics of my dust collectors, I mean RC's when I get back stateside... I have a PTI Goliath crawler, a Losi XXX-T that I'm converting over to a stadium truck over the buggy, and a Losi Rally Weapon which I put together and has never been run. I need to get a few items for each of these to be able to get them up and going and enjoying them.. unfortunately it is the same parts for all of them, so I can't even make one go right now.. LOL.. Oh well in time I will get them going or sell them off for parts for the Full size rig!! LOL But I do enjoy going out and playing every now and again when i am able too!!

My boys got into this early this year. At 13, 12, and 8, they all bought their own trucks with their own money saved from birthdays and doing yard work. My 13 year old bought his SCX10 Wrangler new. The other two got theirs used on eBay. Both are SCX10 Honchos but one of them has an XJ body on his. He also has an Axial AX10 Scorpion, which he also bought himself.

It finally got too embarrassing always asking to play with their trucks, so I had to get my own.

It's a SCX10 Honcho. I built steel sliders and a steel front winch bumper/brush guard for it myself, and also built my own metal links. It has a RC4WD Bulldog winch with a steel hook that I built to replace the cheap plastic one. My boys got me the Dinky interior kit for my birthday.
