So do you guys think I can pull a 5000 lb feather lite trailer?

Pull it yes. Might be a little dicy. I have pulled 5800 and I really don't want to do it again

Pulling and stopping are two different things. I'm not 100% sure, but I think the tow capacity is 5k.
