There are a lot of choices for purchase, and obviously I could fab my own set.

But I like some of the bends seen on some of the ones for sale.

Those state for a JK, but why would they not work on an XJ?

The Skid Row version who be nice if I had money to burn.....but I don't :rolleye0012:

I have a jks set i'm gonna be putting on. At $20-25 i would just buy some, but i don't have 3/16", 1/4" setting around either.

And the JKS set are 1/4"?

Good point on the price, between my time, welding consumables, etc, might as well build a set if they have what i am looking for. :D

Then I believe the JKS ones are in my top three choices...

Was considering the Currie ones because I could at least afford that Currie product ;), might even include that detail in my sig... :D

Then I did not do too bad,...I needed a new filler hose and vent hose, so I ordered from Morris 4x4 after trying our forum vendors, and they had the JKS skids for $ 22.98, and if you spent $99, you got free shipping. I needed two more shackles, so that helped.

Anybody got some pictures of the pre-cut upper control arm reinforcement installed?

I have seen things like the the Zone OffRoad UCA gusset. But it escapes me how that is supposed to look when welded on.

I have several pieces of plate steel here, and a plasma cutter, should be able to fab this.

Looks like you might have to hit it a few times with a hammer to make that. What are you reinforcement, the axle or frame side?

The passenger side bracket on the axle.

Got the JKS mini-skids today, they are 1/4 steel, and beefy. :D Could weld them in place, but thinking about doing everything except the gears and locker.

Going to try to only drag this D30 out from under the XJ once.:rolleye0012:

Honestly, I would use a little plate for that if you have the means for it
