I replaced my leaky left rear wheel cylinder today. While I was at it I replaced the shoes on both sides. and for the life of me I can’t get this bracket for a little cable to stay on. ( left side) It pressed in tight on the old shoe. But on this one it flops out if I breath. Any ideas?

Chewing gum may do the trick...

Put the spring in this morning, snapped it all back together in a few minutes. works like a charm now.
Thanks again.
