So while working on the wiring, I noticed my engine mount on the right side looks like... well like a good chunk of it's missing.
And since I'm looking at dealing with my saggy rear springs to get it back up to the same lift as the front ~
I thought I'd just deal with all the rubber in 1 shot! :bacondance:

So, for an '89, I'm looking at:
- The 2 motor mounts - right looks easy, left looks PITA!
- The manual trans mount

What else am I looking at for the engine/drive line bushings/mounts??
- I came across a "Transfer Case Stabilizer Bushing"...

As part of my rear fix, I'm going to pick up a new (GM Truck) shackle w/ bushings for $40/pr.
3402

So I'd still need to get the leaf spring bushings...

I also came across these:
DEA Cushiong?
3400
Rugged Ridge?
3401

What are they? ...and are they worth the effort? :morningcoffee:
And what else would it be worth hitting around the same time?

Lower pic looks like poly mounts. They work well except for one thing. You feel the vibration of the engine through them. But those don'e look like Jeep mounts. More like Chevy

They were on rockauto under jeep Cherokee...

Does anyone know the stock shackle dimensions?
Bolt to bolt looks like just under 3"

The DEA Cushing is under transmission mounts
The other is under motor mounts
...both on rockauto's page

The Rugged Ridge is aluminium with a 42,000 psi strength to eliminate torque loss...
Used in place of the rubber mounts.
... I'm thinking that might increase the motor vibrations running up my head
