Rigs of Rods FREE OFFROAD SIM!!

So I found this through a Facebook Cherokee group that I'm a part of and I couldn't play it with my old laptop, but I can with my new one! Physics are pretty good, and it's very addicting to tinker with when you have that offroad itch. There is a forum for it, though I don't plan on joining. The forum has the download, new rigs to download (I downloaded an XJ of course) and several How-To's. Here's the site. I recommend downloading it from there and nowhere else though... and best of all IT'S FREE! http://www.rigsofrods.com/content/

See, THAT'S why you get a computer!

Looks pretty cool, and realistic. Er...more than most that try an offroad type simulation. And fairly accurate with the XJ... except for the front leaf springs. :rolleyes:

Yeah, I was curious about the front leafs too, but we are allowed to create and design our own rigs so I may give it a shot

Customization, or the ability to, can make a big difference to how long one plays. So, cool!

Have you played Offroad Nation or Crawl 4x4? Free apps on the phone, it keeps me entertained for a good couple of hours lol

It's not a very straight forward game either, a lot of stuff to figure out trial and error. Reading the forum helps a lot on how to do things, but after reading a few posts I can already see they flame people so I won't be joining it. It does help to have a full size keyboard with a number pad though, so I have a wireless one hooked up to my laptop so I can pay the game.

I down loaded it and it took 30 min to get all the nasty stuff off my computer that came with the down load my computer is still not working right

yep I'm on a different computer now. I'm going to take mine to my son to fix he is a computer tech

That is really odd. I downloaded it from a different source first and got a bunch of malware. I got it all cleaned up and did some research and the forum for it said to download it only from their site to avoid malware. I did that and haven't encountered a single issue when I got it from there. I did have to make sure to deselect all the toolbars it wants to download for you though, I hate when people try to trick you into downloading toolbars. Like Adobe. Every update I do tries to get me to download a toolbar.
