That is a bad link. My XJ has 3.5 lift with stock uppers.

I ran stock uppers on 4.5" for about a year without issue

DITTO....
I didnt go to adjustable upper and lowers until after I was already at 5.5" for a little while.
Any aftermarket fixed LCA's (that are XJ specific) SHOULD be a step in the right direction.
I WOULD however suggest that unless its one of those "deals of a lifetime" ....I would save up for a set of adjustables, like the ones Iron Man 4x4 offers.... prob. some of the best you can buy, and engineered specifically for the XJ's.
Trust me you wont regret it.

The only other issue I see is going to rubbing.... the higher you go, and the shorter you're control arms are (or closer to stack) the farther back thats going to pull the front axle.
Meaning as you go up in height, the front axle is going to be pulled more towards the rear of the vehicle. Longer LCA's will help a little, and help correct SOME degree of castor, but the axle will still be anchored by the stock uppers.
Really, anything over 3+ inches you're going to gain the most benefits from adjustable upper AND Lowers.

It seems pretty fast, really depends on the production cycle, or what he has already made up, but yeah just call and ask. Andy's a good guy and he'll tell you exactly what you want to know.
