Hi,

1998 XJ, 4.0L i6.

Wanted to clean my stock injectors (#53030778)

Bought 'Fuel Injector O-Rings' - FELPRO ES70599.

However, the black FELPROs seem to match the STOCK BROWN O-rings...

Buuuut, the black FELPROs DO NOT seem to match the STOCK BLACK O-ring...

http://i1341.photobucket.com/albums/o754/justintoo1/injector/2013-07-27_12-05-40_185-SIZED_zps5a165ed7.jpg (http://s1341.photobucket.com/user/justintoo1/media/injector/2013-07-27_12-05-40_185-SIZED_zps5a165ed7.jpg.html)

The STOCK BLACK seem to be fatter than the FELPROs I got.

Does any one know if there is a difference between them? The STOCK BLACK ones plug into the RAIL SIDE, and the STOCK BROWN are the INJECTOR tip.

Where can I get a replacement for the STOCK BLACK fatter o-rings the go in the RAIL side..???

thanks.

They are almost definitely the same. The brown ones are just so worn out they changed shape.
